Earlier this week Nokia unveiled two Windows Phone devices, the Lumina 710 and 800. The Finnish manufacturer said they will arrive in the United States in early 2012.

“Lumia is the first real Windows Phone,” Nokia CEO Stephen Elop told the audience during a London keynote Oct. 26. “We are signaling our intent right now to be today’s leaders in smartphone design and craftsmanship, no question about it.”

Along with that is a Carl Zeiss 8 megapixel camera. It has an active-matrix organic LED (AMOLED) curved display integrated into a polycarbonate body.

Nokia is also offering the Lumina 710 which is cheaper and lower functions like a 5 megapixel camera. Still the 710 comes with 1.4GHZ processor.

Microsoft seems to be pushing the Windows Phone to the mid market and more than likely this would cater to the Lumina 710 phone. Microsoft is trying to create a phone that will be affordable and more marketable. By keeping prices down they will address a broader market.
